BELGRADE THEATRE HUBS

Theatre Hubs are the Belgrade’s in-house programme of weekly drama workshops for children, young people and older adults.

In a creative and supportive space, participants will learn skills, explore new and different forms of theatre, find out more about career opportunities within the arts, gain access to the inner workings of a regional theatre, and work together alongside professional artists to make a high-quality theatre, as well as having fun and forming new friendships along the way.

We currently run three Theatre Hubs, in addition to our termly acting classes for the following ages:

11-14s (KS3: school years 7, 8 & 9)
14-19s (KS4 & 5+: school years 10+)
Over 50s

Annual membership fee is £200, full and partial bursaries are available.

BELGRADE ENSEMBLE

The Belgrade Ensemble is a free eleven month training programme for early career performance artists looking to develop their craft alongside the Belgrade’s Creative Director Corey Campbell and Associate Director Jay Zorenti-Nakhid.

This is a training opportunity for local performers interested in developing and honing their practice. Participants will train together and work on 2 exciting major projects on the Belgrade’s stages; the first being the opportunity to be in the ensemble cast for the Belgrade’s production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by Corey Campbell in February/March 2025, followed by a text-based/scripted performance project as part of our See it First programme in July 2025

‘The Ensemble has been wholly incremental to my development as a creative and allowed me to challenge, explore and innovate my practice alongside likeminded creatives.” – Belgrade Ensemble 2023/24 Participant

“It has helped me build long lasting relationships in the creative world, share aligned visions, I’ve learnt how to devise, and face, and overcome challenging situations. #Ensemble4Evs.” – Belgrade Ensemble 2023/24 Participant
