At the Belgrade we want to create a space where local creatives/artists can connect with the Belgrade and each other. As Coventry’s largest professional producing theatre, we believe it’s essential that we support our local artists to access opportunities, not just here at the Belgrade, but across the West Midlands and beyond.
As a Theatre of Learning we want to invest in our region’s talent and use our facilities and expertise to provide training and networking opportunities for local creatives/artists. Over the next three years we will lead a “people-first” approach, prioritising co-creation and cultural democracy to become a leading example of an inclusive learning theatre that sits right at the heart of its community.
We’d love you to join us and help shape that journey.
The Belgrade Artist Network is free to join and open to any creatives/artists from the West Midlands aged 18+ who are currently working in the arts or pursuing a career in the sector.
Members of the Belgrade Artist Network will receive the following exclusive benefits:
- A monthly check in over Zoom with the Belgrade’s Creative Director and Associate Director to hear about and discuss the Belgrade’s future plans and upcoming opportunities. These will take place on the following dates this year:

- Free access to rehearsal space where available. To book, email communityadmin@belgrade.co.uk quoting ‘Artist Network – Rehearsal Space Request’ with your name, contact number, dates/times, and details about the activity you will be doing
- A free monthly e-newsletter from the Belgrade Theatre with latest news/events and upcoming opportunities
- The option to provide in-depth, invaluable input into specific Belgrade Theatre plans and projects
