2009-10

In 2010 the Belgrade Community & Education Company presented the Acting Out group’s original production of ImPerfect, which explored issues of body image among young people today, as well as From Banana Flats to Tin Town, which took its inspiration from real events and past and present tensions that continue to affect the people of Tile Hill and Canley areas of Coventry. The New Black Showcase saw original plays created through the Critical Mass scriptwriting programme brought to life on stage, whilst the Belgrade’s third In Our Own Words Community Festival celebrated stories of immigration.
