3: We give voice to marginalised communities

Critical Mass is the Belgrade’s playwriting course and was first developed in 2008 in partnership with the Royal Court London and The Drum in Birmingham. The programme offers young people from Coventry’s BME communities the opportunity to work with professional playwrights and dramaturges to develop their own script. After successfully completing the Critical Mass playwriting course, participants are given the opportunity to showcase their work to an audience in the B2 auditorium, enabling their words and imagination come to life on stage.
