Warm welcome to Pei
For the next 6 weeks we have a University of Warwick student on placement in our Development Team. Pei-Ying Chiang is providing support with general admin and research tasks, together with gathering useful industry experience and knowledge for an assignment – which forms part of her International Cultural Policy and Management course. Later on in the week she will be sitting in on the rehearsal process for the upcoming tour of Big School, which visits local primary schools to help Year Six pupils deal with the transition to secondary school.
“As a foreign student, it is such a pleasure to have the chance to work with the dedicated and enthusiastic team at the Belgrade Theatre. This not only provides me an insight into the industry but also grants me the time and resources to transform into a more competent person. To be taken in and to work as a part of the team has been an excellent experience, I’m very much grateful to the Belgrade for offering such nice opportunities.”
Offering Work Placements and Apprenticeships is a big part of the Belgrade’s commitment to developing the theatre industry for the future and forms part of our charitable activities.
