This brand new production of Alexander Galin’s Moscow Olympics drama, Stars in the Morning Sky, has been adapted by award-winning playwright Chris Hannan and will be directed by the Belgrade’s Artistic Director, Hamish Glen. The show runs in B2 from Sat 17 March – Sat 7 April 2012.

The Olympic torch bearer approaches Moscow, heralding the start of the 1980 Olympics. But not everyone is allowed to celebrate.

In a bid to show the world a cleaned-up version of the Soviet Union, the prostitutes and other undesirables have been swept out of the city.

On one unforgettable night, there is both brutality and unexpected romance … as the characters discover what is precious to them – and cling to it for dear life.
