Posted on 21 July 2015

With July Festival just behind us, follow the link below to see Miya Jarvis’s experience of being a part of the Belgrade’s Asian Youth Theatre and working with Vamos Theatre to create ‘Somewhere to Belong’, a silent masked theatre piece that explored the inner jihad of an Asian Youth.

Unable to speak and rely on expressions to convey emotions, the group had to rely on movement and masks to tell the story, and Miya shares the trials, tribulations and joy of this kind of performance in her own words.

You can read more about Miya’s experience in her latest blog.
