Jammin' in Jamaica: Arun Ghosh on the Music for Red Snapper

Jamaica 1962. The setting for new play Red Snapper which is currently in rehearsal and due to run on the B2 stage from Sat 5 March.

For composer and sound designer, Arun Ghosh the challenge has been to create a sound-scape that will transport audiences to the Caribbean island and create a musical score that captures the early sounds of Ska. In the video below, we chat to Arun about the ideas behind his Ska-inspired sound design for Red Snapper, and find out why he himself is so passionate about this play.
