Today is #GivingTuesday – a global day of giving, whereby people are encouraged to support charities – so we would like to say a huge thank you to those who have already donated to our Making Memories campaign.
Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised an amazing 30% of our Making Memories target and welcomed 48 local families in need to the Belgrade to watch our panto Dick Whittington.
For many families, a trip to the theatre is a luxury they simply cannot afford. We’ve already received hundreds of applications from families facing terrible hardship. So we’d like to ask for your support on #GivingTuesday, to help us to help more children like Martin…
Martin and his family are due to be evicted from their home in early January – just two days before Martin’s mother is due to give birth. Martin’s attendance in school has been affected and he suffers from emotional problems, which has resulted in counselling. Severe financial hardship is making life very difficult for the whole family. Martin is just 7 years old and has never been to see a pantomime.
A donation of £60 would support a local family with tickets to the Belgrade this Christmas. However, we are extremely grateful for whatever level of support you can give.

The Belgrade Theatre Trust is a registered charity (number 219163). This means that all the money given, raised or earned is not distributed as profit but kept and reinvested in the work that we do.
