Video: Spotlight On Canley Youth Theatre

Posted on 22 June 2015

As a part of this year’s July Festival, the Belgrade’s Canley Youth Theatre have created CTRL-ALT-DELETE, an exploration of young people’s perceptions and views of Alzheimers Disease, and how it can effect them.

In this video interview, Drama Worker Jouvan Fucinni, discusses why the group chose this challenging subject matter, working with a researcher from Warwick University so that they could better understand the nature of the disease. This piece has also been created in association with curious directive, an ensemble of theatre makers who explore life through the findings of science.

CRTL-ALT-DELETE will be performed as part of In Our Own Words – a two-week long July Festival of theatre by and for young people, in celebration of the 50th anniversary since the invention of Theatre in Education at the Belgrade Theatre.

Tickets for CTRL-ALT-DELETE and all other Belgrade shows taking part in the July Festival are FREE, although we do ask that you make a donation to the Belgrade Community & Education Company. Book now by calling our friendly Box Office team on 024 7655 3055 or book online.
