Diversity Rocks

Posted on 21 September 2016

As today is the International Day of Peace, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to those who have bought tickets for our Diversity Rocks concert on Sunday, 16 October.

As Coventry’s largest professional theatre, and as Coventry is a City of Peace and Reconciliation, we’re delighted to be hosting such a fantastic event at the Belgrade. Celebrating the diversity of Coventry and Warwickshire’s communities, the evening will showcase the best of what our city has to offer, and make a statement of unity.

The evening’s entertainment is hosted by BBC radio presenter, Brody Swain, and will see the Neville Staple and His Band headline a programme of music and poetry – including acts from a wide variety of musical genres such as 2 Tone, Gospel, Polish music, Bhangra, Reggae, Rock and Spoken Word.

At the Belgrade we create theatre in the belief that it can enrich our communities and fundamentally change peoples’ lives for the better. As a registered charity (number 219163), all the money given, raised or earned is reinvested in the work that we do – ensuring that we can continue to develop our artistic and educational work and remain central to the communities that we serve.

However, we are only able to do this, thanks to the support of our audiences, Members, donors and corporate partners.

Tickets to attend Diversity Rocks can be booked here.

We are also offering opportunities to sponsor the event, from £250+VAT, with benefits including tickets, acknowledgment and promotional activities. To discuss sponsorship further, please contact the Development Team on 024 7684 6750 or email developmentadmin@belgrade.co.uk
