Help Dame Clarabelle make memories this Christmas

Posted on 9 December 2015

#WellDoneWednesday

Why is the campaign so important?

Well, for instance, take one of this years’ recipients, Lily.

Lily likes to do normal things like going to the park or going into town, but due to her mother’s health, this is not always possible. Lily lives alone with her terminally ill mother. She is a carer for her mother and takes a lot of responsibility for the home. Lily is just 10 years of age.

Unfortunately, there are hundreds of young children in our region like Lily, who for one reason or another simply aren’t able to experience the joy, excitement and escapism that theatre can bring at this magical time of year. Your support of our Making Memories campaign will help hundreds of children like Lily, so we would appreciate your help by:

  • making a donation: at the theatre Box Office, in one of the collection buckets, or online at localgiving.com
  • spreading the word, by sharing our news/Tweets/Facebook posts about the campaign

Barclays Bank (Coventry) have kindly agreed to match all donations made to our campaign (up until 14 December and up to a maximum of £1,000), there has never been a better time to help spread some festive cheer and help those families most in need.

The Belgrade Theatre Trust is a registered charity (number 219163). This means that all the money given, raised or earned is not distributed as profit but kept and reinvested in the work that we do. To find out more, please visit: www.belgrade.co.uk/support-us
