Cast of Only A Day Go Back To Nature For A Lesson In Warwickshire Wildlife

Posted on 13 February 2015

Wildlife watchers were treated to a rare sighting earlier this week as stars of Only A Day, Dominique Jackson, Andrew Ashford, Jacob James Beswick and Lowri Amies paid an exclusive visit to one of Coventry and Warwickshire’s favourite natural beauty spots.

The cast took time out of her busy performance schedule to pose for a really wild photo call at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre on Thursday 11th February before staying on to meet visitors and staff.

As part of their visit, the loveable cast of animal characters were invited on a ‘Wildlife Watch’ around the centre’s 220 acres of natural pools and parkland before learning more about the life-cycles and habitats of some of Coventry and Warwickshire’s resident species of wildlife with Marketing Officer, Emma Richmond.

Needless to say, they felt right at home – especially Fox – who event tried his hand at a spot of den-building in the woods.

Directed by the Belgrade’s multi award-winning Creative Associate, Tony Graham, one of Britain’s leading directors of theatre for children and young people, Only A Day is a delightful new play for ages 7+ which follows a day in the life of a Mayfly as she hatches into the world and embarks on a heart-warming adventure with two charming creatures, a fox and a boar.

Only A Day runs in the B2 auditorium until Sat 21 February. Tickets are priced from £7.50 to £10. Family tickets are priced from £24 and £31. School tickets are priced at £6. Tickets are on sale now via the Belgrade Theatre Box Office on 024 7655 3055 or online at www.belgrade.co.uk where tickets are cheaper.
