#NoGirlLeftBehind

Posted on 8 March 2017

It’s International Women’s Day, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It’s also a call to action for all people to accelerate gender parity throughout the world.

Here at the Belgrade, we’re hosting a networking lunch today, for creative-minded women in Coventry and Warwickshire to come together, discuss ideas, spark new connections and refresh familiar acquaintances.

On stage, the Belgrade Young Company are in rehearsals for their new production, Rise, an all-female cast of our best young performers. The show is a celebration of the experiences of young women growing up in the 21st century, whilst also exploring the struggles they face with everyday sexism.

Support International Women’s Day with the hashtag #BeBoldForChange. You can find more information here.

The Belgrade Theatre Trust is a registered charity (number 219163). This means that all the money given, raised or earned is not distributed as profit but kept and reinvested in the work that we do.
