Fragile is a brutally compelling, new drama from BAFTA award-winning, Coventry writer, Geoff Thompson.
Through a series of monologues Craig Conway’s astonishing one-man performance charts his character’s remarkable journey through traumatic abuse, self-discovery and ultimately redemption.
The play’s director, Nick Bagnall, says: “Fragile is challenging and dangerous as well as being extraordinary in its poetry and theatricality. As a new play it deals with a domestic situation in epic proportions. Geoff is an incredible writer and being a Coventry lad, it makes perfect sense to do Fragile here at the Belgrade.”
Geoff Thompson’s acclaimed writing includes screenplays for the BAFTA nominated Bouncer starring Ray Winstone, BAFTA winner Brown Paper Bag, full length feature films Clubbed and Romans 12:20. He has also written the best-selling book Watch My Back.
You can watch the trailer for Romans 12:20, which also stars Craig Conway and is in many ways a companion piece for Fragile as it deals with the same subject area.
