Flashdance – The Musical returns to the UK for the first time since 2011 starring Strictly Come Dancing champion Joanne Clifton as Alex Owens and A1 heart-throb and singer-songwriter Ben Adams as Nick Hurley.

Flashdance tells the inspiring and unforgettable story of Alex, a welder by day and ‘flashdancer’ by night, who dreams of going to the prestigious Shipley Dance Academy and becoming a professional dancer. When a romance with Nick Hurley complicates her ambitions, she harnesses it to drive her dream.

Prepare to be blown away with an astonishing musical spectacle and phenomenal choreography to this iconic score, including the smash hits Maniac, Gloria, I Love Rock & Roll and the award-winning title track Flashdance – What a Feeling.

Presented by Selladoor Productions – producers of Footloose, Avenue Q and Little Shop of Horrors and Runaway Entertainment producers of In The Heights, Guys and Dolls and Lazarus, Flashdance – The Musical is not to be missed!

Dancing in the Auditorium

We know that some of our audiences love to get up and have a dance when they come to see bands and tribute acts at the Belgrade, and that’s fine by us as long as they’re seated in the Stalls section of the auditorium, and are considerate of other audience members around them and not disrupt their enjoyment of the show.

For those patrons who want to remain seated we recommend that they book their seats in the Circle* where dancing is prohibited due to the rake of the seats making it unsafe.

For productions other than musical tributes audiences must remain seated throughout the production.

*Please note that for health and safety reasons this also includes boxes G and I.

Thank you for your co-operation.
